“What Do You Do?"

I figured I’m not the only person who is interested in knowing what different people with visual impairments do for a living. That’s what this post is all about! Rather than google “where do blind people work?”, I’d like to develop this information based on the real lives of Blind Girls See readers. I need your help for this.

Here’s how you can help to build the content of this post and encourage/motivate someone to reach for the sky: COMMENT! SHARE!

Please comment even if you have great vision.

Include the following:

  • Are you visually impaired?

(you may include your visual acuity if you’d like to)

  • What do you do for a living?

e.g. where do you work, are you in school, what do you study...

  • Any additional information

e.g. do you enjoy it and why, how long you’ve been in the field, any advice…

I’m hoping for lots of comments so that I can compile them and create a running list of all the great things we can do! As you know, there’s no limit to what you can achieve. That’s why I want you to comment regardless what your vision is. Do you see what I am trying to say? Even if no one comments and there are no careers listed below, the point is that you can have nearly any career you want.

In a later post, I will rewrite some of the information that was shared to make it easier to access. I’ll also add something that is so inspiring to me! Thank you all for taking on this journey with me. It feels so good to see with your heart and soul. Life is better that way. :)
