Stargardt’s disease does not stop us from living and loving life. We have to do some things differently now, but it’s amazing to experience how adaptive we can be! I hope you enjoy this video of me sharing how I do my makeup and how I feel about doing it. I had so much fun filming it!
Surely, I am not a professional when it comes to this topic. I think I know just enough to get by in the real world. With that being said, I’m hoping that you do not leave this page with only makeup on your mind. Try, for you, to see deeper than the surface as we go on. After all, we are on this journey together to find our place called Here. I think we are doing pretty darn well!
Despite your visual impairment or lack thereof, I encourage you to try doing you makeup without a mirror. It is a really great experience and a great skill to have! Life is good.
“A person who only sees with his eyes and not his heart misses the details of beauty.” – Evie Lynn Fritz
